CULTIST 1: "O-oh. Uh."
CULTIST 2: "At least she's running out of places to hide! It's only a matter of time before we catch her!"
Marino folds her arms behind her back.
MARINO: "...Time is no longer a privilege we have. Tomorrow, our Venerable Star will appear for the final time."
By now, multiple cultists have been drawn in by the commotion. All of them are utterly shocked by what they're hearing.
CULTISTS: "TOMORROW?"
Marino begins to speak, the speech bubbles overlaid across an illustration of hooded people kneeling before a strange creature with a star for a head. Things that look to be ribbons snaking toward the people from the creature.
MARINO: "Watch over this realm in my stead. Maintain order, justice, and life, and procure what I have lost. In turn, you shall be handsomely rewarded with a home carved out for you in the New World."
Marino wanders to the front end of the bus, still looking down at her subordinates.
MARINO: "We have located Their lost artifact, but we have failed to procure it from Ms. Difonia."
She jumps from her perch onto the ground and begins to walk away from the congregated cultists.
CULTIST 1: "You mean the harmonica, right?"
MARINO: "Precisely."
