The cultists all look on in horror as they try to absorb what they see before them: Marino's corpse and the dozen Executioners that have been created in the room. Lani, too, looks on in horror and shock. Then, the Executioner behind Marino steps over her. Its foot makes a "TAK" sound on the ground that gives way to "TAKKA TAKKA" as it lunges forward with its cohorts and starts running toward the cultists.
The cultists, still reeling from what's going on, take a moment before they start running away in fear. They scream things like "OUTTA THE WAY!", "RUN!", and "HURRY!", but all Lani can do is stand still. The screams all become muddled together in her mind.
