Num takes a couple steps backwards. Ice makes crackling sounds as it begins to form in front of him. Then, he flings his hands forward as if to shove his ice magic in Marino's direction.
NUM: DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!
Marino is entirely unphased by his attack and lazily puts up another wall of earth magic to block the ice.
MARINO: How predictable.
Marino brings her hands closer to her chest in an upward-sweeping motion before promptly balling them into fists. At the same time, mud blobs are created in the air above the boys. It shoots down toward Num, who only notices what's happening right before the blobs make contact with a loud SHLAPP sound. The mud covers his eyes and hands along with pelting him elsewhere.
