ÍSJA: Anyway, I first saw daffodils a couple years back. We don't really have any bright flowers back home, so...
Num watches the pair come closer, looking pensive.
NUM (THINKING): Good, he's keeping her busy. We can't let her lose it in here.
Ísja continues chatting with Lani, who is finally smiling a little bit.
NUM (THINKING): She's suffered so much already. She doesn't need to turn into a monster on top of all that.
NUM (THINKING): ...Things might've gone wrong back there, but... maybe it was for the best that we went to Noarata.
Num smiles.
NUM (THINKING): Maybe one life was worth the risk.
